- TV presenter Eamonn Holmes has been hospitalised after suffering a stroke, GB News confirmed.
- The broadcaster is reportedly “responding well to treatment” following the health incident last week.
- Holmes, who presents the GB News breakfast programme, will be temporarily replaced by fellow presenter Alex Armstrong during his recovery.
- This latest health setback follows years of chronic issues for Holmes, including severe back pain, multiple slipped discs, and several surgeries since 2021, which have led to him largely using a wheelchair.
- Despite his physical struggles, Holmes recently stated he remains 'mentally very much on the ball' and has found a “perfect tonic” in his new partner, Katie Alexander.
